1. Introduction

Welcome to PensionResort.com, operated by Pension Resort SARL ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking services with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Bookings and Payments

To reserve accommodation or services, a valid payment method is required. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. A deposit of 30% of the total booking price is due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded in full. If cancelled between 14 and 30 days before arrival, 50% of the total booking price is non-refundable. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

3.1 Extended Refund Policy

We understand that unexpected situations may arise. To support our guests, we offer an extended refund policy for certain circumstances:

1. Medical Emergencies: If you or an immediate family member experience a serious medical issue, you may request a full refund of all payments made, provided you submit a doctor’s certificate at least 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

2. Travel Restrictions: In the event of government-imposed travel bans, border closures, or quarantine requirements that prevent you from reaching our facility, you may request a full refund or rebooking for an alternative date within 12 months of the original check-in date.

3. Processing Times and Refund Methods: Once a refund request is approved, funds will be processed within 14 business days. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing. Non-refundable fees, such as third-party booking charges, remain at your expense.

4. Liability

We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, injury, or damage to person or property, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

5. Personal Data and Privacy

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We commit to safeguarding your information and using it only for legitimate business purposes.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bern, Switzerland.
